Fagan
Hi, we're Fagan, named after the fictional character in the Charles Dickens novel, Oliver Twist! We were formed in late June 06 and will hopefully be around for a long time yet. Let us know what you think of our music as it's good to hear feedback, and we do take all advise on board. And as always, keep in touch!!
We are currently in the production of new songs trying to use novel ideas and different sounds to make our music better, so check back soon for the first Fagan album.

Liam
Liam Fitzgerald started out simply playing rhythm guitar for fun, then decided to put vocals to songs and was told by some "You actually have a good voice!". After leaving school Liam went on to College & studied for B-Tec National Diploma in Popular Music, where he learnt alot about writing music, and he put his writing skills to the test. His first song was called "Here I Am", which some say is single material, maybe one day you never know! from then on he wrote songs all through the summer & has definatly got the knack for writing catchy tunes. Liam hasnt stopped writing since, & for aslong as he can, will try to produce the hits for Fagan!

Ashley
Ashley Barr a bassist in another local band called "Elastic Band" was asked one night on the joys of msn, if he fancied playing in a new band, to which he accepted the offer & was also asked to search for a lead guitarist to accompany him. Ashley had been playing Bass for around 2 years, he originally started to learn lead guitar, but in his own words "couldnt be bothered", he definatly has the talent & brings an indie sound to the band with his own style.

A few weeks later after speaking to Liam, Ashley found a lead guitarist by the name of Lee Yang, who was on his summer hols after studying his first year at university. Not having a clue what he was letting himself in for, he also joined up, & this made the beginning of "Fagan". Lee is a very dedicated person who brings brilliantly mastered melodic riffs to accompany Liam's songs, to add that extra piece of harmony to enrichen Fagan's tone. Lee had played mostly in punk/rock bands, so this was new but he definitely showed a true passion for this type of music which shows in his work.

After a hard summer of constant practising & some light gigging, Fagan have found their feet and are now looking to go on to bigger and better things! If you have any suggestions or questions for the band then do message us, we will always reply!

Summer of 2008 we plan to hit the streets and play anywhere and everywhere around the UK, but right now we plan to practise and gig as much as possible trying to gain that extra bit of support, ready for 2008. We hope to see all of you there!
